Effective Date: September 14, 2025

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of subscribe.dev's services, including APIs, SDKs/libraries, dashboards, metering, subscription and payment features, and analytics (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. Stripe and Payment Processing

  • All payment processing is provided by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). Your use of payment and subscription features is subject to the Stripe Services Agreement and related policies, which are incorporated by reference.
  • We do not store full payment card details. Payment data is handled by Stripe under its security, privacy, and compliance programs.
  • If your business or activities are prohibited or restricted by Stripe, you must not use the Services for those activities. We may suspend or terminate your account if required by Stripe or if your use would cause us or Stripe to violate Stripe's terms or law.

2. Prohibited and Restricted Businesses

You may not use the Services to engage in or enable any business or activity that violates Stripe's Prohibited and Restricted Businesses. Without limitation, examples include:

Prohibited examples:

  • Gambling, betting, lotteries, or casinos.
  • Payday lending, debt collection, credit repair, or debt relief schemes.
  • Marijuana/cannabis products or drug paraphernalia where not legal.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives.
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, "get rich quick" schemes.
  • Unapproved pharmaceuticals, unsubstantiated health/medical claims.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOLTER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, RELIANCE, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if: (a) you violate these Terms; (b) you engage in prohibited or restricted activities; (c) we are required or requested to do so by Stripe or by law; or (d) your use presents an unacceptable risk.
